Our Favorite Pastime: Hand Sucking

The first thing Norah does when let out of a swaddle is put her hands in her mouth. They get in the way when we're nursing. They go in the mouth with gloves on, when riding in the stroller and when getting changed. Simply put: she loves sucking on her hands.

A few weekends ago, she discovered pointing. She would point her little finger and then very intently stare at it, moving her hand around as if inspecting it from all angles. Then she would put her finger in our mouth and proceed to suck some more.
