A New Dining Room

While Seth was gone last weekend (watching World Cup games with buddies in Vegas) I decided to tackle the dining room. For the most part we really like the upgrades that the previous owners made in the house, but the dining room paint "would not have been our choice" (language modified by Seth in case the previous owners happen to ever discover this blog (unlikely)).

Here is the before, with their furniture:

It was a mauvie/rustie color with a lighter rustie/orangie sponge thing on top. Sorry - that's the best I can describe it.

Anyway, here is the after:

I'm really happy with how it came out. The color is similar to the green we had in our dining room at the old place, but a bit less blue. It makes a big difference throughout this whole side of the house since you can see into the dining room from the kitchen, living room and den.

So, that's one more thing crossed off the list!
