We were lucky enough to have some extended family in town for Thanksgiving. Grandma and Grandpa Garber have been in from Indiana for a few weeks, and aunt Von and uncle Dave came in from Denver for the weekend. Seth and I hosted (with major help and contributions from everyone), and we had a great day complete with outside play, good football, great company and a yummy meal.
We didn't do a great job of taking photos, but here are a few:
In the last picture you can see the dishes we used, which belonged to Seth's grandma and grandpa Kauffman. He remembers using them frequently for meals at their house growing up. We have the entire set, including salt and pepper shakers, butter plate, gravy boat, cream & sugar holders, and a flower pot (?)! They were quite festive for Thanksgiving.
