In our family the chicken really does come before the egg...
We actually didn't do any trick or treating tonight, on Halloween. Both our kids were in bed and asleep by 7:15 (Macy by 6:15). But last night we went out a little with some friends. Macy slept in the stroller while Norah learned how to trick or treat from her friend Connor who is a year older. She quickly caught on and was quite pleased with her bag of treats. We were only out for about 30 minutes, and toward the end she complained that her bag was too heavy.
Last Friday I took the girls to the annual Halloween party at Seth's work. Our little egg had a massive blowout 5 minutes after we got there, and Norah seemed to be having an allergic reaction to her chicken costume. So neither costumes lasted the whole party. Oh well.
